Julian Bartram| Shopify's Community Manager based in New Zealand. Julian's role is about helping small business owners get the most they can out of the Shopify platform. A typical day for Julian is meeting one on one with fellow business owners, facilitating merchant meetups, and hosting educational webinars and workshops. Julian is known for his positively blunt style of facilitation and is known to drop regular, tangible knowledge bombs that business owners can take away and utilise on their businesses. Julian is a small business owner who happens to be working for Shopify. He has been using the platform since 2011 which keeps him up to date regarding the platform.

Over lockdown, Greg and his team at Retail NZ worked tirelessly providing support to the retail industry and lobbying the government to ensure retail had a voice. Greg also provided many webinars to help keep the industry informed during a time when change was happening rapidly. Join Greg and hear from him first-hand about how far we’ve come, what we need to do to keep going and how we can all unite for recovery.

Greg Harford is the Chief Executive of Retail NZ, and was formally the GM Public Affairs there, charged with speaking up on behalf of the retail sector to affect change. Greg’s background is in advocacy, representation, communications, marketing and operations.
