Plan Your Way To Business Success

Everyone who starts a business wants to make money, have time to enjoy it and create something worthwhile and meaningful.  If that hasn’t worked out for you yet, today’s presentation is going to help.  Whether you are just starting out, or if you have been operating for a while, this presentation will get you on track to achieve the success that you have always wanted.

During this interactive presentation I will take you through a Strategic Planning Exercise, where you will learn how to create an action plan for the future success of your business.  Here are the 3 steps in the Strategic Planning process: 

  1. Where you are now – we can start analysing that by doing a SWOT analysis of one of the following aspects of your business: Finances, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Staffing.
  2. Where you would like to be - =Getting clarity about where you want to be, creating a vision, mission and identifying the values that are important to you.
  3. What do you need to do to achieve the vision - identifying what is needed to achieve your vision. Creating an action plan that utilises and maximises your business strengths, takes advantage of opportunities and minimises your weaknesses and threats.

You will leave this session with the beginning of an action plan to kick start your business to success.

Jann is a business coach and mentor who supports and inspires others to succeed. She is also an experienced business owner, accountant and life coach.

This unique skill set means that she has a vast amount of knowledge and experience to help you turn your business around. As well as looking at the big picture, Jann’s  coaching programmes are very practical and will get results for you.

In addition to this, Jann has a unique approach. Unlike dedicated business coaches who primarily focus on profits, or life coaches who will focus mainly on your well being, her philosophy is to inspire you to achieve both profit and purpose, with balance.

Jann’s business experience has meant that she has ‘been there’ and faced just about every ‘business problem’ you can imagine through co-ownership of a busy, now iconic, award-winning bakery.  She has co- owned this business  for over 30 years . This has been Jann’s  motivation in becoming a business coach – to help business owners  make enough money, have enough time for themselves and their families and have a feeling of accomplishment.  As a trained life coach, Jann helps her clients get clear on where they are headed and finding strategies to overcome the things that stop them achieving their dreams. Jann provides one on one or group coaching, along with regular workshops.  She is available to speak to small business owners about creating the right mindset for success in business and life.

Maximising Your Visual Displays

Learn about all the key points in creating an effective display for your store. From product placement, use of colour, lighting, themes, stories and the basics of styling to signage and promotion. Genevieve will demonstrate what it takes to catch your customer’s eye through setting up a range of unique and inspirational visual displays.

This interactive seminar will include training on identifying your market position, customer base and targeting your product and visual displays strategically.  Genevieve will discuss forward planning and having a merchandising promotional plan.  How to identify and utilise customer behaviour and traffic flow within your premises, and provide tips on having an effective floor plan using fittings and fixtures to their full advantage.

You will learn about a range of different styling options to suit your store so be sure not to miss this amazing presentation!

Genevieve Flynn was trained as a window display artist over twenty years ago and has been involved in all aspects of visual displays ever since. From a hard-working shop assistant to managing entire shop make-overs, Genevieve has worked in all aspects of the retail and wholesale giftware/homeware. She is currently involved in creating fabulous visual displays for various companies and in Australasian Gift Fair set-ups.
