Genevieve will demonstrate what it takes to catch your customer’s eye through setting up a range of unique and inspirational visual displays.
This interactive seminar will include training on identifying your market position, customer base and targeting your product and visual displays strategically. Genevieve will discuss forward planning and having a merchandising promotional plan. How to identify and utilise customer behaviour and traffic flow within your premises, and provide tips on having an effective floor plan using fittings and fixtures to their full advantage.

Genevieve Flynn was trained as a window display artist over twenty years ago and has been involved in all aspects of visual displays ever since. From a hard-working shop assistant to managing entire shop make-overs, Genevieve has worked in all aspects of the retail and wholesale giftware/homeware. She is currently involved in creating fabulous visual displays for various companies and in Australasian Gift Fair set-ups.

Alex Fulton, stylist, designer and colour ambassador will give you an inside to her world of colour and how you too can create a palette for your own spaces without getting blindsided by trends. She will take you through the process of choosing colours for your space and how to navigate the world of colour choices. She has a clever eye for not just form but the function of colour and the most effective way to use it spatially. A practical and a colourful seminar that will let you walk away with some tips and tricks which will get you closer to specifying colour like a pro!
There’s no doubt that New Zealand Interior Designer, Alex Fulton isn’t afraid of colour. Alex describes her style as "original, non-conformist, challenging, amusing, and cheeky, but functional". Her homes have graced many magazines and her Marlborough home was a finalist in the 2017 NZ Best Awards. She writes, she styles, she designs, but mostly Alex is an advocate for design and colour and uses her online presence to showcase both to New Zealand and the world. She is now based in Christchurch with plans in the pipeline to start work on her latest home and well as running her AFD studio and store with new and exciting products and projects.
