FAQs about Visitor Registration

  • How much does it cost
If you register before the show ( pre-register) entry is free. If you register when you come to the show, it will cost $20
  • I didn't receive the email with my barcode

A barcoded email is only sent once you have confirmed your details and have had your ID approved.

If you have confirmed your registration details but haven't received your barcoded email, use your login details on the 'Visitor Registration' page. Once logged in you will be able to see the 'Print Barcode' option under ' My Registrations'.

Please note: the 'Print Barcode' option is only available when you have had confirmed your details and have had your ID approved.

  • May I bring guests to the Fair

Please note: Accompanying guests are able to attend on the first 2 days of the Fair only. A guest pass may be obtained from the registration desk. There is a $20 charge for the pass..

 

Each registered visitor is limited to one accompanying guest. An accompanying guest is one who helps in purchasing decisions for your business and not one who comes for personal buying reasons.

  • Do I need to register to come to the Fair

The New Zealand Gift and Homeware Fairs are trade only shows.

Once you have registered, and have had your ID approved you will be sent a barcode for express entry.

If you are a new visitor to the Fair please submit your ID prior to the Fair for verification or bring it with you on the day of the Fair.

You only need to register once.

  • How do I register to come to the Fair

You can register online under 'Visitor Registration'. Pre registering for the Fair is free and it will save you time onsite.

Alternatively, you can register by calling; 0800 367 976

You must submit your ID for verification before entry is gained into the Fair. This can be presented onsite at the Fair or sent in prior via email , fax 09 379 3358, or post to PO Box 9682, Newmarket, Auckland 1149. Please ensure you include a copy of your registration confirmation email.

  • What is my username and password

Each registered visitor has their individual username and password.

This information was automatically sent to the contact email address you registered with.

If you are a new visitor you would have received the email upon completion of the registration form.

If you are a previous visitor to the Fair you would have received the email once you verified your registration details.

  • I have lost/deleted the email with my login details

If you have lost your login details please enter your email address in the 'Lost Password' box and hit the button 'Find Password'.

Your login details will be resent to you.

Please note this information is sent to the email address that you have registered with. 

(If you have changed your email address and have forgotten your login details you will need to send through your new contact email address to info@giftfairs.co.nz)

  • My contact information has changed

Using your login details you can now update/change details on your Gift registration account yourself.

On the 'Visitor Registration' page, enter your details in the login box. You will be taken to your Gift registration account.

To update/change your details click on 'My Account and Login Details'. Once you have updated your details hit  the 'save' button at the bottom of the page.

  • I cannot remember the contact email address I registered with

When using the  'Lost Password' function you need to enter the contact email address that you registered with. If you enter a different email address it will not be found on our database.

If you cannnot remember your contact email address please email info@giftfairs.co.nz

  • What if I am unable to print my barcode/forget my barcode

Pre-registered visitors may get their entry badges at the onsite registration desk located at each entrance to the Fair. You do not need to complete a registration form, just present your personal ID so your record can be located on the database.

  • What forms of identification can be used to verify my registration

The business ID can be 2 of any of the following:

  • Business card or company letterhead
  • Invoice from gift supplier
  • Business registration documents
  • Company credit card
  • Company order book
  • Company cheque book
  • Domain name on email or website (if provided prior to the Fair)

 

The personal ID can be 1 of any of the following:

  • Drivers licence
  • Passport
  • Photo credit card
  • How do I submit ID for verification

You must submit your ID for verification before entry is gained into the Fair.

This can be presented onsite at the Fair or sent in prior via email , fax 09 379 3358, or post to PO Box 9682, Newmarket, Auckland 1149. Please ensure you include a copy of your registration confirmation email.

Sending your ID in before the Fair will save you time onsite. As this is a trade only show only valid trade visitors will only be allowed to gain access to the Fair,

A minimum volume of orders will be determined by the exhibitors. Cash and carry sales and personal buying are not permitted.

  • Can I register onsite

Yes. There are several visitor registration counters at the shows. Registration onsite will cost $20.

If you are registering onsite please remember to bring your ID along with you.

If you visited a particular Gift and Homeware Fair last year, you will receive a complimentary copy of the Gift Magazine two weeks before the fair. You can use the guide to plan your visit to the fair. The magazine will also act as a directory for you after the fair…so hold on to it! Please remember to bring the guide to the fair with you as replacement copies will cost $10.

Like the other New Zealand Gift Fairs, this is a trade only show where retailers can view and order the latest product lines in one place, at one time.

Entry to the New Zealand Gift Fairs is free if you pre-register - registration at the show will cost $20.

Visitor Parking

The most convenient car parking and access to Halls 1 - 3 is the Trotts Carpark on the corner of Campbell Cres and Puriri Drive (behind the Caltex Station). From there you can enter the venue from the back gate C and start your visit at Hall 1. The other option is the Alexandra Raceway carpark off Greenlane Rd. Admission $6.00 for all day parking.

Transport

Fancy getting picked up at a Gift Fair?

We are happy to offer a complimentary transport service. The Giftmobile service runs between our hotel partners and the Fair venue each morning and afternoon of the three Fair days.

Our drivers will collect you from the front of the hotel and deliver you to the entrance of the Fair and back again at the end of the day. The pickup and drop off point at the Fair is at Gate A (outside the registration tent on Greenlane Road)

Times - 7.30am–10.30am daily, 5pm–7.30pm Sunday/Monday & 2.30pm-4.30pm Tuesday.

For airport runs outside of these times please email or call 0800 367 976 or 09 976 8300. Spaces are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.
